Market Research Assistant

Location: St. Louis Park, MN

Status: Part-Time (25+ hours a week)

Rate: Starting at $17/Hour

This is a part-time and on-site Market Research Assistant role. You will be required to work from our office in St. Louis Park, MN. The Market Research Assistant will be responsible for assisting our busy project managers and help ensure our market research studies run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment, has strong professional interpersonal skills, and has a positive can-do attitude. This position would involve a lot of telephone work and does require someone who excels at multitasking, is organized, and can comfortably work with Microsoft Office 365 software.

The typical everyday job responsibilities would include but is not limited to the following:

  • Screening and scheduling respondents over-the-phone for upcoming paid market research studies
  • Assisting with everyday front desk/receptionist tasks that may include answering incoming calls, facility maintenance, ordering office supplies, and setting-up the facility space to meet each research study’s specification, etc.
  • Greeting and working with market research study participants in-person or online
  • Greeting and working with Fortune 100 clients in-person or online
  • Working with HD recording devices, cameras, computer systems, video/audio editing software, and a variety of online services/meeting platforms (technical background with computers and recording systems is a plus)
  • Working with Office 365 software (i.e. outlook, excel, ppt, etc.)
  • Help set-up research projects for recruitment, tracking research quotas, watch for research trends, entering and updating research documents throughout the day
  • Programming research surveys and pulling appropriate research data
  • Assisting with social media networking that may include social media posts, website postings, and database email blasts

Overall, you will be responsible for helping out with many aspects of our business to ensure a successful market research study. You will need to be on top of project details and be ready to help out as needed. Applicants must have reliable transportation and may be subject to a background check and random drug screening.
